How accurate is laser cutting?
Machine suppliers quote plus or minus 0.2mm, though the reality is that this can vary significantly without constant servicing and maintenance. SSC can work to tighter tolerances if requested, but this takes time to adjust machine parameters. Additionally, a laser cut on thicker materials can be difficult to measure accurately due to gas striations
Why should I laser cut?
It is probably the most cost-effective and fastest way of producing a clean and accurate profile.
How long will my order take?
SSC will quote extremely accurate lead times based upon current live capacity. We have 3 flat bed lasers, 2 tube lasers and 3 press brakes to ensure we have the capacity to meet our customers requirements.
How do you calculate my quote?
Using our MRP system, we have a precise quotation package that gives extremely consistent pricing on every quotation.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No – we can produce individual products. This is the fundamental benefit of a laser cutting service. There is no need for expensive tooling and jigging. However, please see our minimum order values below.
