Goods Produced For The Retail Industry
When producing laser cut components for the retail industry, you’d be surprised how varied the requests can sometimes be. We could be laser cutting a bracket for a mobile phone holder, doing some flat, fold and tube cutting for a store display, or working on signage for a store. We’ve also recently produced panels for a large supermarket chain’s escalators, bumper rails along the aisles and slotted tubes for shelving, sunglasses displays, perforated panels for drinks displays and newspaper stands.
We’ve got a few projects in the pipeline planned in for the foreseeable future; we’ll be working on decorative panels and bar tops for the hospitality sector, some stunning brass table legs, and even spiral staircases! We’re also working on some more stainless steel and glass balustrades and signage/logo plates.
Do I need to provide you with the CAD work ?
Not at all. We find that a lot of our retail clients do already have their CAD drawings for developments prepared, ready for us to take it to production – however, we also have in-house CAD engineers who are more than happy to assist with the CAD development before taking it to be manufactured. For example, when a well-known gym equipment retailer got touch with us regarding their in-store rig, we helped heavily with the research and development for their tube work and thoroughly enjoyed being able to be a part of the whole process, from start to finish. We also have equipment that is able to reverse engineer parts in order to create an exact copy of an already made part.
We’ve recently been working on helping develop the point of sale stands for Superdry stores, to ensure that the project completed is world-class and totally accurate. Our clients’ designs are provided in full detail so that we know we’re working towards producing goods that are exactly to our clients’ specifications and high expectations.
What’s The Best Material For The Retail Industry ?
The majority of the items we produce for the retail industry are manufactured from mild steel and stainless steel, and the reason for this is that the work required is high volume and competitive. However, this doesn’t limit you to just this material. We’re currently carrying out work for retail clients in brass, stainless steel and zintec.
